Comfort and Joy: An opportunity for reflection in Advent: in a group or on your own.
This Advent, explore the “Comfort and Joy” booklet which the Church of England have produced. You can either do this on your own, or arrange to do it with a friend or you can join us on ZOOM. We have bought lots of these booklets and they will be posted out with the Newsletter to those who receive it by post and they will be available in Church. Each session considers one or two Carols, Christmas Bible Readings and has a reflection to consider.
And, as Ian encouraged us last week, please consider joining in with one (or all) of our sessions via ZOOM. They are very friendly and informal and there is no pressure to contribute to any discussions. By just being together, if only virtually, we can support each other in this Advent season.
The ZOOM sessions will take place at 7.30pm and will be “stand alone” – so, you do not need to connect with every session. They will be on the following dates:
· Tuesday 1st December led by Revd Ian Perry
· Tuesday 8th December led by Revd Alison Thomas
· Tuesday 15th December led by Rachel Strang
· Tuesday 22nd December led by Paul Pooley
The Zoom details will be emailed out closer to the time - so, please come, and join us as we look forward to our Saviour’s birth – Jesus, The Reason for the Season.
